And She Lived Happily Ever After...

Published on

Whenever I'm asked, "How are you?" My response is more or less the same, " I am fantastic! I am wonderful! I am absolutely awesome!" My friends would often retort,"You are always fantastic or great". But it's the truth, that's exactly how I feel everyday.

I must confess that this was not always my state. In previous times, my state of happiness, gratitude and contentment would fluctuate, based on the situations, people and circumstances happening in and around my life.

This was until I was introduced to a different kind of living, one which involved living as the Divine being that I am. Living from this space, which is essentially the truth of who we all are, brings with it immense privileges and benefits, including learning to tap into and exist from your true essence, which is blissful and happy by nature.

I assure you, this does not mean that I never experience any challenges or issues. No, by no means. What it means, however, is that my joy, happiness and peace is not determined by the happenings of my external world. It means that I have taken 100% responsibility for my way of being and my inner world.

I believe that the situations and circumstances we all face at various points in time, which are usually considered negative or problematic, serve as feedback. They help us to see ourselves, giving us the opportunity to make any necessary adjustments to our thoughts, beliefs and behaviors, which are the determinants of the way we see and experience life.

With this understanding and appreciation for all of life, my way of being no longer fluctuates with the changing of the tides. Instead, I am continuously open, welcoming and embracing each and every situation, knowing that it's all happening for me and my highest good.

Living life as the Divine Soul that you are, is very much like a fairy tale, where happily ever after is not just an illusive idea but a very real possibility.
