If All That I Am Is Love?
Last night, I had the most astounding pleasure of attending a Collis Duranty's, Infinite Love concert. Prior to yesterday, I cannot honestly say, I knew his music, with the exception of possibly two of his more popular songs.
My girlfriend Kiki, who is a die-hard fan, invited me to attend. It was hosted at a intimate and inviting wine bar, Unwined. At first, I was a bit hesitant to attend because I was in a lazy mode and preferred to stay in and relax. However, because of Kiki's enthusiasm, I decided to attend and I was truly happy that I did.
As soon as I entered the bar I felt it. I literally felt the love. I was greeted by the most warm, attentive and very professional host, who made it his duty to give us all required information, ensuring we felt comfortable and at home.
Everyone in attendance were dressed beautifully and fashionably. The permeating energy of the environment was light, fun and exciting.
The event's team were all dressed in matching black T-shirt’s with a simple, yet powerful, infinity sign on the chest with the words, love intertwined in it.
From beginning to end, their simple mission to propagate love was transmitted loud and clear. Each song sang by Collis and each of his powerhouse guests, was wrapped in, filled with and oozed the most transcendent and omnipotent word of all time, Love.
I stood there, soaking it all in, snugly surrounded by other patrons who seemed to be as mesmerized by this spirited messenger of love. I felt compelled to stand and absorb the energies transmitting from each and every rendition, despite wearing 6" heels.
The entire experience deeply penetrated my being in a profound, yet gentle way. I began asking myself a series of questions, quite curiously and intently, all based on my love experience.
The same questions kept reverberating in my head continuously, as I drove home:
What if, love was my only mission.
What if, love was my only purpose.
What if, love was my only goal.
What if, love was my only thought.
What if, love was my only belief.
What if, love was my only language.
What if, all that I am is already love.
If, I were to continuously exist in a state of love and truly live life from this space, what would life be like?
If, I truly recognized the truth that I am love itself and allowed its expression to flow uninhibitedly through me, what would life be like?
If, in each moment, I chose love, no matter how I felt, no matter who was before me, no matter where I was, no matter what I did, what would life be like?
If the illusion of separation fell from my eyes and I finally realized the truth that there is no you, there is no me, but only one love, what would life be like?
I've never been to concert that impacted and bombarded my heart, the way Collis Duranty's Infinite Love concert did. It was by far one of the most memorable experiences I've had for 2018. It was just what my being needed to end the year off. To bask in love's unmistakable, nourishing, satisfying vibrations, setting the tone for a new year of love and more love.
Thank you Collis Duranty for being a vessel and ambassador for more of what this world truly needs, love.

It was indeed an experience...a connecting of the 'dots of love' from people who came to feel that which cannot be defined ...'raw love' ... it was beautiful. You sure stood your ground and shared the essence of enjoyment with everyone!

This has so captured...what I felt....last evening at Infinite Love. Strangely enough I was aswash with those feelings about 20 minutes before the show ended. Overwhelmingly, I full of gratitude, and to be grateful there must be love. Thanks to Garlene for insisting you make the show. Unwined is truly blessed to have hosted and had folks partake in such an event.

Thank you for your comment Ophelia. I believe Collis' event was a perfect match for the energy of your beautiful and intimate wine bar. It was my first time being there, after hearing so much about it from Garlene. It was indeed an event etched in our beings. Blessings to you and all that concerns you.
