When Life Doesn't Go As Planned
Have you ever had one of those days which seemed to completely turn your world upside down, inside out? One, single day which caused you to start questioning everything?
Well, yesterday was one of those days for me. I'd finally received some long anticipated news, which turned out to be the complete opposite of what I believed it would have been. I'll be honest, I was so certain that things would have worked out in my so called favor that I started planning and speaking as if it already was.
However, unknown to me, the Universe obviously had other plans for me.
Later that night, while listening to one of my most loved mantras, I was guided to a SuperSoul Session Talk by Gabby Bernstein ,on the 5 Steps to Spiritual Surrender. My heart melted as I felt a sense of relief and release. It was the confirmation and comfort I needed in that moment.
Tuning into the talk revealed that I needed to surrender. I needed to let go and give up what I believed my next steps should be and simply allow God to show and lead me to the path that is in alignment with my soul's purpose.
This experience has taught me that there are several layers to surrendering. And as Gabby so beautifully stated, "When you think you've surrendered, surrender more. You’ll begin to trust in a plan far greater than your own. The Universe will lead you to creative solutions and miraculous experiences. Let go and receive."
